Hi everyone. What is the maximum size of SD card and/or USB Drive?
I've tried dumping discs to SD cards and USB drives with no luck through DVD Dumper (cIOS) with little luck.
Everything is formatted with FAT32
8GB SD (doesn't work. fails to write)
4GB MicroSD (doesn't work. fails to write)
8GB USB drive (doesn't work. fails to write)
4GB USB drive (doesn't work. fails to write)
The only ones that do work are my old 512MB and 1GB MicroSD cards. But then I have to dump 1 chunk, per hour, for about six hours. I'd rather dump it entirely to an 8GB card overnight.
Can't dump over wi-fi because the Wii's wi-fi won't connect to my router, even though other devices will (Xbox 360, PS3, Pocket PC cell phone, PSP, etc).
Even tried the Wii LAN Adapter. No luck. Are certain settings need for ftpii, or any other programs that require network initialising? None will initialise.
If someone can give me a more convenient way to dump the iso, it would be great.
I know the other methods won't be "faster", but it would be more convenient and less tedious.
I was under the impression that there is a 2GB SD limit also, but,
Waninkoko's DVD Dumper asks where to dump the disc, in 1 of 4 places:
1- Front SD Card
2- USB Mass Storage Device
3- SD Gecko Slot 1
4- SD Gecko Slot 2
Then it asks what size the chunks should be:
from as little as 128MB, up to 8192MB (8GB)
So I assumed I could dump it all on a USB stick.
