I have 3 old Hitachi Pcbs and was bored over xmas so decided to see how bad they were,2 froze up my system and ive written off but the third one does not freeze my system and in Xtractor Reader 2.7 it is detected on my sata but for the life of me i cannot get it recognised in Windows (Mode b).I know that your probably gonna say its a matter of reprogramming the chip but just thought id inquire as to whether it is salvageable before resorting to such measures???
