I have (well, had) a PSP with 4.05 OFW as well as a bricked psp. I created a Pandora's Battery and MMS with Rains MMS creator and so it directly installs 4.01 M33 onto the PSP. It worked fine on my 4.05 PSP, but on my bricked psp, the green power light comes on for a second and then turns off, even with the MMS and pandora in. There is a blank screen so I can't access the menu, even when pressing down the L trigger.
Can anyone help me with the problem?

try this u need to get the original 4.01 sony firmware try googling it
do this
Install PSP Grader v006 to your PC. Netframework 2 required
Run PSP Grader .
Connect usb mode and Select your target drive
You will see a box at the top. Add the location to your Official FW Update 4.01 into it.
Select trigger button in this case left ,you wish menu to boot with
Tick format memory stick
Click the create pandora stick,Wait until the confirmation screen appears
Your Memory card is now ready
Disconnect the PSP from the USB cable
Remove your battery from the PSP
Whilst holding the L shoulder button on the PSP. Insert the Pandora battery
You will get menu ,select install 4.01 m33.
When done press x reboot or o shutdown..
Take out battery and put it back in again, this time don?t hold any buttons.
Psp will boot as normal.

okay here are a couple of things you should try...
1. Recharge the pandora battery and a normal one
2. put a normal battery in and try going to the recovery menu (hold 'R')
3. then if it works download Hellcats recovery flasher and the official 5.00 PBP update from sony
4. run it and recover to 5.00m33
5. If you cant get to the recovery menu then download THIS and run it on a CFW PSP

I'm on the same boat as catinahat. I even tried Pandora Deluxe and same thing. When I hold the trigger, light turns on for a sec and then shuts down. Any solutions to this?
