WxRipper and SS Merger HELP

I used WxRipper to rip Burnout Paradise PAL.
This is what I did...

1. Let windows read hotswap TOC (7.8GB DVD)
2. Find magic number
3. Stop drive, hotswap and spin drive
4. Dump the ISO

Now, that should give me a perfect dump, right? (For those who debate you find magic number AFTER you hotswap, I have also tried that)

Now I have a PAL SS file for burnout paradise, and so I open the iso and ss bin with ss merger. However, SS Merger gets a "cannot login" error and I cannot verify the SS bin. But since it's PAL, I figure it'll work anyway, so I try to burn it - No success. The reason I do so is that others have tried this and succeeded.

Any comments/help/suggestions?

NB - Don't blame the media, optical drive, Verba 2.4x and I have burned ISOs that i downloaded off the net before, its just that when i try to rip it myself, it doesn't work.

(There's a steady pile of coasters growing on my table....)

um.... get a kreon drive and you won't have the issues.

I didn't even think anyone followed the wxripper process anymore.
