I have a NTSCWii.
And I bought a Wii Fit PAL (I bought the board in Europe and got the PAL version of the game).
I have Wii Key on my Wii.
When I put in the PAL it asks to do a system update, which can bloke my Wii... I got a Wii FitNTSC game from a friend, and it does not asks me to do a system update.
I also updated over the Internet for the latest system update, but it still asks me for a Wii System Update (the PAL game).
My Wii Key is set to let me play multi-zone games... But no luck.

I bought my Wii Fit in the USA just before Christmas and so got the NTSC version of the Disc. Trouble is I bought my Wii console in the UK, and so need a Wii Fit PAL disc ? any chance you want to do a swap ?

I have 1.9s on my WiiKey, and the "avoid updates" option is ON (it still asks me to update...)

In the end I went down the ebay route. I bought a PAL disc and will now sell my NTSC disc through the American ebay site to recoup my money.
I hope you find a swap soon.
sorry if it sounds dumb - but the whole thing in wii fit ntsc and pal is the disc right? i can still use a fit board i bought in the uk with ntsc disk and it will play fine?
