Is Nero v6.3.0.3 (available for download thru Afterdawn) just a trial version? If yes, where did I miss reading that important bit of information?

Yes, the download is for the trial version of Nero. It doesn't really say that it's the trial version, but Nero retails for around $80USD, so I think most people assume that it's a trial. The trial still gives all of the full features, it just expires in a month.
