Most of you guys already know this, but for those of you who don't, the wii can play all the smash bros games

Brawl for the Wii section of the console
Melee for the Gamecube section of the console
Original for the Virtual Console section of the console.

Just to let others know, you can use a Gamecube Controller for all three games.

i heard that smash bros for wii is availble on a single layer in stead of the dual layer is this true???

Yeah but it is sketchy. You are better off getting the DL.


I play the original smash with my friends and it is great having it on wii but sometimes you just need to bust out the N64 controllers.

SSBB update is just so your wii will read dual layer discs. It was a 3.1 minor update.
