So I need to replace the drive in a 360 core system. I was able to determine that it has a samsung drive. So from what I understand all I need to do is buy a drive such as this one here. Replace the boards between the two. Put in the new drive, and I have an operational 360 once more correct? Or is there something more that I am completely missing.

that will work if you buy the exact same samsung drive. so if you have an ms25, buy an ms25, if you have an ms28, buy that. if you end up having the 25, but get a 28 drive, then you will have to flash the original drives FW to the new drive.
