hi,
i have downloaded many scrubbed games lately....and they have all worked apart from Boom Blox.....anyhow...i have around 200gb's worth of uncomressed ISO's so i have downloaded and installed wiiscrubber 1.30.....( i really need to free up some space)
i have scrubbed carnival games mini golf...and i am now winraring the resulting ISO.....my concern is that the archiving is going to take around 30 mins to do!!! should it really take so long to archive??
many thanks
Gazza!!!
its actually still archiving!!!!!
ising winrar and its taken 24 mins so far with an alleged 14 mins left...
i am not running any other programs other than the tinternet!!!
Gazza!!!
It depends on the speed of your computer and what sort of compression you're using, but thats about right. You're doing a huge compression and so it will take awhile.
many thanx for your reply penguin....its just that i havent archived much in my time, so i did not realise it took so long!!
have u scrubbed any games urself?
Gazza!!!

thanx elk
can i jusk ask u what settings u have on the wiiscrubber..??
roughly how long it takes to scrub one ISO?
and how long to archive? (roughly obviously)?
m
cheers
Gazza!!!
Same as elk, I never noticed any settings on the scrubber.
I have a fairly beefy desktop, it can scrub in 5 - 10 mins and compress it about 20. I tried it on my laptop once and it took close to an hour and a half to scrub and compress one game. But my laptop is fairly low-end. Mostly I just use it for web browsing. Any gaming or video editing or whatnot I do on the desktop.
hiya guys,
i have the latest and alleged last release of wiiscrubber....version 1.30....
im not at home right now so im not sure what buttons are on the program..
please correct me if this is wrong but this is what i do....
i generated a key.bin file and put it in the same folder as the wiiscrubber exe, run the program, load ISO, scrub (wait around 10-15mins), then compress (around 30 mins)resulting ISO with winrar...
my desktop is a bit of a dinosaur....amd 3gb processor with 1gb of ram!!!
Question.....do you have to gererate a key.bin file every time you scrubb an ISO?
