LITEON FLASH COM3 Problem

When i get to the point where i have to select the com 3 port nothing comes up in the drop down. The liteon drive comes up properly in the I/O and so do the Drive Properties using JungleFlasher .26. I made sure that i installed the Vista CK3 usb drivers. and the following is what shows at the bottom of the JungleFlasher:

JungleFlasher 0.0.26 Beta
Session Started Tue Jan 06 20:49:03 2009


Found 6 I/O Ports.
Found 0 Com Ports.
Found 4 windows drives.
Found 1 CD/DVD drives.


I also checked the ports in the device manager and it shows that com 3 assigned as "Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm Port (COM3)"... it looks ok so now im not sure what to do to get it to show the com3 in the JungleFlasher.

I had to use DVDkey32, Firmtool and Dosflash to flash mine. I never got Jungle Flasher to work.

Well i managed to extract the (inquiry, identify and key bins) using the CK3 Tool 1.2.4. but it didnt create a dummy bin. So close for me, yet so far.

just use jungleflasher to use those 3 bins and make a hacked firmware, then erase drive and write the firmware.
