Sorry i've been looking around thread to thread.

I got a psp off someone a while ago and i heard about this custom firmware and ive been trying to apply it to my psp.

I have no idea what firmware it has now.
Ive tried the holding the right trigger while turning on and i cannot enter this recovery mode.

can anyone help me by chance on figuring out how to put custom firmware on my psp or guide me into the right direction please?

sorry if this has been posted somewhere else i HAVE been looking! lol

No, your not on your own, you came to the right place. What you want to do is downgrade from 3.73(official sony firmware) to firmware 1.50. The once in 1.50 you can upgrade to whatever custom firmware you want. The only way to do this is via pandora battery and magic memory stick.

1. Unplug your AC adapter

2. Insert your MAGIC Memory Stick

3. HOLD the left shoulder button

4. Insert your Pandora battery
