OK, I have a fat PSP, firmware v.3.40 OE-A. I recently tried to back up my copy of Naruto Ultimate Ninja Heroes using UMD Dumper v0.2. I backed the game up to ISO folder, have the no-use UMD setting enabled, but when I attempt to play the game, just get a black screen and the only way to use the PSP is to power off, then back on. I have other games on my PSP but they are in .cso format and work perfectly. I found a converter that will convert the .iso to .cso and proceeded to convert the file. Same problem occurs. My question i guess would be; Is there a program out that would back up the games in .cso format? Is Naruto an uncopyable game? Or is there just a small step that I am missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

The psp has no problem playing iso's so thats not the issue, Try using xplora or psp filer. see if it works. If not maybe it's something not set right.

update to m33 firmware; 3.40 OE-A is old now. that has a built in umd ripper.

then get umdgen 4.0. that will compress the iso to cso.
