ok finally sorted out the other problems i had, dont know how but now i have 2.60 firmware from a umd tried loads of ways to eithere downgrade or upgrade but nothing works, my aim is to end up with 4.01 cfw.

Also is there a umd game out there with higher firmeware.

Hey, riikk stop upgrading via umd's!! that's not cfw it's ofw!! What you need to do is downgrade to version 1.50 and then upgrade to a cfw version! You can use the GTA eloader exploit to do so or a pandora battery and magic memory sTick.
