ive tried everything even nero vision ecpress which isnt that bad but i really need some help im not that new to dvd-r and that stuff but what i want to do is convert mpeg 1 vcd format to a dvd-r
yes ive looked at the guides and everywhere else on the web but that tmpgenc just doesnt do it for me!
nero vision express is the only one-click easy one ive found but still i done one movie and yes it works burnt it to a dvd-r and perfect puukka but then i don another film "edited" and the audio and vision become out of sync in some places and ive merged the files with tmpgenc i just really need some help and another example i merged the two files of "edited" vcd format together watched it all the way through yeah sound video everythin on it is fine nothing out of sync or anything so then i run it through nve and burnt it too a dvd-r and noo-way theres no sound i would really appreciate it if n e body has n e suggestions please? thanx

Don't mention piracy again !

For mpeg1 (VCD) (or even avi/divx/xvid) to VOB (DVD) I use :

MainConcept MPEG Encoder 1.4 to make an MPEG2 DVD Compliant file w/ 48000Hz Audio (which will do video+audio together so no sound missing)

TMPGEnc DVD Author to convert MPEG2 to VOB/BUP/IFO files ready for burning in VIDEO_TS folder.
