Hi guys

Hoping someone can help me here!

I bought a battery pack advertised as a:

1800 mah 3.6v Pandora battery tool

trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=196092058 = is where i bought it from!

I have a:

PSP 1002 fat

I only want to use it once to downgrade my psp to 1.50 My problem is that the battery doesn't even fit properly in my psp it is loose, eg falls out when u turn psp upside down and i have my power cable plugged in and the psp is on, i put in pandora battery and if i hold it right the orange light comes on which means charging?
However when i go to system settings and see battery information it just says external power source, because i know you have to charge the pandora battery before using but am i doing it right is it charging? Or is the battery a fake?

Thank you so so much for any help, Craig

No, one replied so I thought I would take the liberty of helping you... Well, It looks real: to find out, simply unplug the psp from the charger, take out the ms. Then put just the battery in and see if it turns the psp on without turning it on yourself. If so, it would appear to be real! you can do this without charging it full, but in oder to mod you will need at least 75% battery power. The fact it falls out is probably due to poor maufacturing.
ps. DO NOT let the battery fall out while modding!

Dont worry its 100% real, now you might have some problems romoving the little pin, i recommend that you take a rasor blade, heat it up hot with a sawdern iro or somthing, and then try to remove it. Worked like a charm for me, but dont leave it on the the chip for very long if you cant get it the first time.

take the battery out...plug the ac adaptor ...put the battery in... you have to switch your battery back to normal

!to be more clearly -plug the ac adaptor turn on your psp and then put the battery back in....and it works like a normal battery but if you turn off your psp you wont be able to turn it back on (with the battery in it) unless you repeat the same procedure
