probly shouldn't have ripped out the battery, it wouldn't have hurt nuthin if you left it. What red screen are you talking about and 2 lines?

Hi, you have a semi-brick. Easily fixed. Just boot into recovery and select advanced. Now press "Format Flash 1 and reset settings" This will fix it.

Good Luck

the fact that you can access some xmb means your flash0 is prolly just corrupt. A mms is just short for magic memory stick, the memory stick that goes with you pandora battery. Simply redoing the downgrade and then upgrade will fix your problem. I'm, just trying to help, so i dont appreciate the lack of thankfullness...if you had read the rules and other stickies, you would know what a mms is

This happened with my PsP as well and I find that repartioning the flashes worked for me so do you want me to send you over a copy of my UPMS memory stick so you can do that? PM me your msn address and I will send you the files and walk you through it.
