Hi guy's hopefully some of you pro's might be able to give me some info on this...
Basically I met a friend yesterday that I hadn't seen in awhile, he lives in meath somewhere. He has 'The Box' and hadn't used it since it went down as he hasn't a clue about it, just wathing it.
He asked if I could flash his box for him, I said sure but I ain't going to Meath.
So he's gonna bring the box to my house tomorrow night, but I'm a little unsure on how to flash and scan a box that's running on Ch**us.
So he has 'The Box'. So I take it I flash it with the latest The box firmware but to scan in channels does he have to scan from his own house in meath as he'll be using Cho**s as his provider and I have N*L here.
All info appreciated as I've never had any experience with boxes in conjunction with Ch**us
on (the box) in the secret menu, in nagravision it has all the providers like nthell and chor@s so im guessing that it would work as normal with any provider. but just incase mayb print him off a sheet for the afterdawn website showing how to step by step scan for channels. that shud b enough to do it.
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

I see. I thought you would have to flash the box, attach it back up to the cable and tv and do a factory reset and then an automatic scan and then put the channel dump back on after the channels are found.
The problem there is he hasn't a bog how to do anything but watch the box.
So you reckon by flashing the box in my house and just putting his channel dump back on it should auto update for him when it goes to a ppv channel back on his Ch**us subscription.
Just for the record he has cable Cho**s. So either way if I just flash the box for him, and he goes thru the usual steps back home and scans under teh Ch**us and turns key emu on, he should be set.
