Hi guys im very new to this i've been reading alot of forums and post but i keep seeing different ways and instructions and am getting confused! i just want to flash my xbox360 elite which has the hatachi drive. i would like maybe a most up to date step by step instructions on now to flash my xbox360 im planning on getting the xceutener connectivity kit so could anyone help me? i was thinking of going the nme2.0 modchip way too! which way is best i can solder and am pretty computer literate. (or atleast i like to think)Anyone could help me THANKS MUCH!

totally different 59 is really simple a goldfish could do them :) 79 are a bit more tricky but with the right tools they can be done handy enough

yes thats right buy from www.shopneo.co.uk i bought from them and in 3 days i had my ck3 pro kit and probe and i am in dublin ireland and not the uk they are a good service

well im not sure what hatachi is the manufacturing date is 2007-03-04 i dunno if that helps, but if not where can i find this info? Thanks much guys!

The type of drive is on the white tag on the drive.

if is elite, then it is 79fl, the elites only shipped first with benq's, then hitachi 79's, the 59 is far out of date for the elite. 360drives.com is a good site, to check, but i 99% it is 79fl.

just do a search for hitachi 79fl flash instructions and you will find something out there, fine, i will give you a tutorial i made, but you guys really need to start searching for answers, as that is what we all did to learn this, you will never truly learn if you don't try and do somethings by yourself. if you have troubles along the way, that is where we come in, but alot of people on AD, aren't willing to help others due to the fact of them not even trying to search for themselves.

you will also need to get the 79unlock tools, which you will have to find, google 79 unlock tools.

thanks for your help, the reason i posted on here is becuase i have done serches and came up with so many different ways im actually confused! thats why i asked basically i just want to know one way thats garanteed if i follow the steps i won't brick or ruin my 360.
