Until the new lite-on modification kits came out for the 360 drives, I had always been purchasing my modchip products through Divineo for several years and I never really had any problems with them, it looks as if I should have stuck with them. MrModChips.com treats their customers like crap, and I just wanted to warn people.
If I'm posting in the wrong place, I apologize - if there is a better spot for me to give this kind of feedback, please let me know.
So I had placed a pre-order for a ck3 probe and 360 Connectivity Kit V3 Pro on 12/20. Throughout the waiting process, they really kept me in the dark and I kept having to submit tickets to get any information from them and to get them to move my order along. I had been already waiting for 3 weeks and my order had been sitting in "Awaiting Packing" status for 5 business days. Awaiting packing? So all they had to do was put the product in a box and hand it to the shipping guy? And it sat there for 5 days? I'm sure you can understand I was a little upset about this. Here is the ticket I submitted:
"First, the arrival dates of parts that I ordered kept getting moved back (I understand that is out of your control, but it just adds to the frustration), next when the parts finally came in it took you guys 5 days to change my order to "awaiting packing" status (which you only did AFTER I submitted a ticket) and now it has been in "awaiting packing" status for another 5 days. What kind of business is this? If my product has not been shipped and tracking information given to me by Monday, I'm going to have my credit card company cancel this whole deal and I will take my money elsewhere. This is ridiculous, just give me an update please."
Maybe I was a little out of line, but really, I shouldn't of had to constantly keep poking at them to get anywhere. Here is the response that MrModChips.com gave me:
"Well it looks like your taking your money elsewhere as we have taken the decision that we do not want to supply you with any products.
Good luck trying to buy one elsewhere as you will quickly find that noone has any stock.
We have also taken teh step of advising all other xecuter stockist that you are a potential chargeback fraud risk and that they are better off not to deal with you as well.
How ridiculous is that ?

Goodbye"
And then "Class A idiot who thinks they can get one elsewhere so we will laugh at them"
Holy crap, that is the most childish thing I've ever seen a business do. I would recommend anyone steer clear of these guys. Anyone else had problems like this?

i agree this is bs, i am going to contact them as well, i think that is a horrible way to do business. why do we care what they have to say? we dont need them.. lets put the modding community together and show them we dont need their products.

Ok, I'm glad it doesn't seem like I was the crazy one. Every time I had to submit a ticket, they were total jackoffs, so I just got fed up.
I placed my order with Divineo without any problems - the probe isn't in stock yet there either, but neither was my order going anywhere with MrModChips. I had no problems with Divineo in the past when I modded my original xbox and wii, so I'd just recommend sticking with them. I did have to pay about $10 more there though.

if your still looking for one, go to ebay and search for a seller named... xboxstation (he has the xtractor version, but it still works) he had several on there, that were in stock, and if you send him a message making sure they have them in stock, they will give you the link of their actual website, where they are available for cheaper. not sure what the site is since i some-how deleted the message they sent me, but its worth a shot.

A friend recommended www.modchip.ca to me a while back, and neither of us will do business elsewhere, they have good prices, fast shipping, and excellent customer service. Definitely not the kind that'll just take your money and do nothing after that.

i bought the ck3 pro kit and probe from www.shopneo.co.uk and i have to say there service is A+++++++++++++++ i highly recommend them better than mrmodchips.com they are friendly and really helpful

I have ordered a spear for my xtractor kit from redbox mods.co.uk, was waiting a ten days and still no spear, i emailed asking for dispatch confirmation and they sent me a snotty email saying i should wait 20 DAYS! before contacting them , and i should check with royal mail!
I sent them an angry reply telling them they never waited 20 days to take my money and any other decent business gets you the goods within 2 working days.
I told THEM to follow up my order and to send me another one instead of messing me about!
I always warned them i would warn other potential customers of them via forums etc..
They sent me an email saying they were out of stock and would send me one via recorded delivery when their order arrives.
been waiting by my postbox for 2 weeks now with no spear.
