I have GDR 8163B dvd drive installed on my computer and it reads the WII game, I downloaded the rawdump and extracted it to the desktop, I also downloaded the Microsoft .NET Framework, when I try doing the start dump it will go to about 3.99gb and comes up with an error and doesnt go any further, Ive tried doing it several times and it does the same thing, even with a different WII game. The error is unhandled exception has occurred in your application, then it closes down. At the top of that box it says Microsoft .NET Framework. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Doesn't sound like a problem with HDD space. The error message is different.
Start --> My Computer --> Right click on drive you are trying to rip to --> Properties --> Look at File System File Type
Try booting into safe mode and then running rawdump.

Don't right click on the DVD drive. You need to right click on the Hard Drive that your ripping the Wii game to and then properties. Then look at file system.

Yeap you need to convert it to NTFS.
HERE is a guide on how to do it.

The guide I linked you to said there is a slim chance you could lose data. So I would backup any important data you want saved in case you do. But there shouldn't be a problem.
After you convert it to NTFS then the file system will be able to handle files over 4GB. So rawdump should now be able to finish the dump without the error.

He means NTFS not NTSC.

Yeap I changed it. LOL
The previous thread I answered was asking about NTSC games so I had a brain fart for a moment. But corrected it to say NTFS.
