Sony DVDs on sale @ Costco & Staples - Good Stuff?

I had to take back some stuff to Staples last night and noticed that they have Sony DVDs in a new packaging. The DVD-Rs are made in Malaysia... 50 pack is $12.98 and the 100 pack is $22.98. The DVD+Rs are made in Taiwan and are the same price. Costco has the old packaging 100 packs buy 1 get one free. Any difference between these? How to they stack up to Verbs? Thanks for the help!!!

SysAdPgh- Not having any experience with the Malaysia made Sony's But have used Loads of Sony Made In taiwan , Made in Japan ( taiyo & SonY? ) and Would Pick The MIJ or MIT in Preferrence to Malaysia made in the Sony line !!! The Sony MIJ= MADe in Japan Are Often Made by Taiyo Yuden for Sony And Will Code out as Taiyo yuden !! However there are some sony disc Made in Japan That code out as Sony ! These Are Pretty Decent Disc and atleast as good as the MIT sony's IMHO which ain't bad !!! Hope this helps my friend Cheers !!!!!!!!!
