Hi,

I am using Adobe Premier 7.0 with Digidesign?s digi001 sound card all installed on Windows XP Home edition. I am using Digidesign?s ASIO Driver 5.3.3b2. When I play back a movie that has sound everything works just fine; but when I try to record audio I get a lot of white poppy noise in the background, about -40db. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything. I have gone though every sample rate and buffer size possible. Not a single change in the sound quality ever. Anyone working with a similer setup? Any thoughts, ideas, comments?
