my xbox 360 drive will not open bought a new one instead of flashing it i switch boards still wont open so the board must be bad,how can i get it to read games now? it plays movies not games
its a ts h943 toshiba,its not flashed its a new replacement the old one wont open no it dont make any noise its something with the board i tryed to put old board in new drive still dont open,now have to put code from old board on new board how?wont play games until matched with motherboard.

I understand you can't flash the new drive. What I meant, was the old drive flashed and did you happen to already have your key from it?
I've seen a bunch of these, especially with the Samsung drives. For some reason, the board just dies. It doesn't matter if the drive was flashed or not. If you have an unresponsive board, the only way to save it is to have the tsop desoldered and read with a programmer.
Doing so will allow the owner to insert his key in to the new board. I've done 22 of these so far and I've been able to retrieve the key everytime. If you're interested and in the US, I can do it.
