after a quick power cut the box came on saying no are bad signel. i tried a powerscan and a factory reset. every time i try searching it comes up with none. the one thing i have noticed is that the ch num on the scan has nothing there . where my dads says 0001 then installs all channels . i only got it on 15 dec 2008 . i am so gutted can anyone help me please

A little more info please, Where abouts are you, when you did the power-scan what symbol rate did you use.

Sorry i am from staffordshire .. and it was on 6887. never had it before.i have my dads here and when you re-install it says ch-num is blank my dads says 0001. apart from that thay both scan tha same . at the end my dads gets sorted into fav my box says no channels or bad signel.

no mate sorry. It did not work. the same thing happens. I did my box and my dads at the same time. to see what goes on. my dads went cool.

on my dads box
there is ch num 0001
freq 100.00/ 250.00/ 536.00 ect
progress 1.2.3.4 upto 770

my box does the above but the ch num. ist blank. It want let me put it in.
at the end of my dads it says 1 of 33 2 of 33 ect works fine.

my box goes back to the user installation witch is all blank.

Have you tried that box at your dads home to rule out your box being faulty.

yes mate it does the same. its fulty i think . downer its only 3 weeks old.
