Hi all,

I have not been keeping up with all the releases of ixtreme firmware updates. I think the last time I did any firmware update was over a year ago.

My question is: Can I update the new ixtreme 1.5 firmware the same way as I did a while back? I have a samsung dvd rom and hitachi drives. I used to update the firmware using a SATA card and cable connecting my dvd rom drive to my computer. Can I still do this? if so what software I need?

jus follow textbook's 2008 guide, but yeah, it's pretty much the exact same.
