hi how long dose it take the tv licence to get a warrent to enter your home as i have just had a visit by one of them and wouldnt let him in (its my home why should i) he then said he was going to get a warrent i would like to know how long it will take so i have some idea when he will turn up i only use my tv for my xbox and my dvds i hate the way the bbc find you guilty untill proven inesent and send people to your door like you owe money to a drug dealer it is wrong the way thay treat people I DONT WANT THER DRUGS AND DONT NEED THEM so please bbc leve us alone.

i am not sure how long it would take them to get a warrant to enter your premises, but i will say one thing. dont f*ck with the goverment. there will be only one winner. call them up and see what they can do for you. you will have to pay one way or another. good luck..
If u have a computer tell them thats all u have and u dont watch TV u use a computer to watch TV Online.
It will take them a matter of days to get a warrant thats if they have the power to ' The licence (whether colour or black and white) is free if you are 75 or over, and half-price if you are registered blind, although you still need to apply. Ses it all they dont even give a blind person a break '
here in ireland we have to pay a tv licence plus all the ads. and only get 4 channels for that in crappy analogue, there is no DTT here yet. and loads of places around the country cant even receive the 4 channels...you can have ten tvs for the 1 licence in a house but say you own a mobile home for summer holidays you cant bring 1 of the tvs to the mobile,that needs a seperate tv licence for a year even if you only have a tv in mobile for the 2 weeks holidays..
can you believe this? as i was reading this a knock come on the door & it was them! just said i moved in a week ago and paid in cash £139.50 even dick turpin had a mask over his face the fooking robbin' tw**s! licence in a different name now
come to the US. We do not have a tv tax,but we suffer from commercials :(

no thanks,we get enough rubbish us tv here in the uk,without moving to the us and having to watch more of the rubbish,and anyway i would miss eastenders and coroination street,quality tv at its best.lol
