My wii wont play my self made backup game...

I got one of thoes drives it dumps the image using rawdump and i burn it using alcohol 120% and yes i tried nero i burn it a 2 times speed and yet when i play it on the wii it does not work my wii is chipped with d2pro any ideas

after you dump your games with your lg disk reader the game you dump should be 4.37 gigs for the wii 1.35 gigs for the gamecube. After the dump is complete it should be in .iso format or the gamecube format which is gc. Make sure you have enough room on your Hard drive to dump it too also , if you run out of space sometimes dumps can go bad. Once the dump is complete it should give you the a - ok to burn it. Use verbatim - r and burn with img burn at 4x and below. Burning dumps over 5x causes wii gator or wii gamma loader to not read it. If you have a mod chip well it should read it if you wait at the screen. Hope this helps.

tried all that but i did here something about making sure you have the right booktype whats that supposed to mean?

Why don't you burn with imgburn which is the tried and true method instead of "pushing a rope uphill" and using other apps?

Imgburn is free and about as easy to use as it gets. No worrying about booktype or layer breaks. If you have a problem with imgburn then we'll all have something to talk about.

Oh, and BTW, get good quality DVD-R media and burn at 4x to save everyone some time.
