I'm new to all this, i've been to afew forums and nobody gives anyone the time of day as a new poster, i'd just like to embrace the info, stick around and learn.
Anyway, i'm new to burning 360 games etc, my 360 is a Hitatchi drive flashed with 1.4 Ixtreme. I've noticed my PC's DVD Burner is a NEC 3550A and read i can burn 360 games with it if i flash it with firmware (clueless to how) but will my burns be successfully able to be played on any drive in any 360? as i do need them to be able to play on Samsungs, etc also
I would/will be using Verb discs.
Basically i just need afew people to teach me the basics.
does your burner support dual layer? if so, then yes you can burn 360 iso's. as long as the other 360's are using an updated firmware there should be no reason they iso;s shouldn;t work on them, you need clonecd or imgburn, i prefer clonecd as you don;t have to set the layer break. i have never had one problem with any games, and i don;t care what anyone on here says, you do not "HAVE" to use verbs, other dual layer media works fine, just don;t buy the shitty of the shit. i use memorex, tdk, crappy nexxtech, and they all work fine.
Thanks, I think it is dual layer, i've searched around the net and have read on many websites selling the NEC 3550A and people who also have it, and it is a dual layer burner, even though in "system" it says its a DVD RW, is that right?
