PSP UMD=storage?

Okay I want to know is there is a way to make a umd blank so you can store stuff on it, is this possible?
If so, has anybody seen any programs for doing it?
I know how to change my usb device to UMD but i can't put stuff on it. I think it would be cool to use some old umd demo discs as storage.
Any help would be appreciated.

UMDs have their information inscribed on them permanently, rather than use magnetic storage; this means that the currently existing data on a UMD cannot be removed. However, this does still leave the potential to write more data onto the disc where free space is available, but unfortunately no commercially available method of doing so as the PSP is incapable of burning information onto a disc and Sony will not release and UMD readers/writers for fear of breaching the security of their discs.
