First, I apologize if this is not in the appropriate forum. Second, long time reader first time poster and third, thanks to all for the advice and guides written in previous threads.

Ok, a little background. I have two psp's that have custom firmware on them but I've never bricked one. I was at a friends yesterday and he had a psp that wouldn't turn on or off. I offered to take it home to see if it was bricked. No problem. I ran a mms I made and it flashed the cfw with no problem but it still won't turn on or off. So, I made a new mms using Rains Ultralite mms Maker. I flashed again and still no on or off. Put the battery back in without holding the L1 button this time (still using the Pandora Battery) and it started just fine but I'm not sure if it's reading off of the memory card and starting or the flash. Not sure how that works? Still won't start up via the on/off switch though. I've tried sticking the battery in without the Memory stick in and nothing happens but a green light comes on which makes me think it's just loading off the memory stick or it needs the memory stick to redirect it to load off of the flash. Again, not sure. Any advice??

Thanks,

Woodman

PS. Once it's started, I can pull the mms out and it runs fine with a regular ms in it. Must be loading off of the flash but getting redirected by the mms. Any thoughts on the power button?

try swapping out the switches between the 2 psp's. if it doesn't work then you've ruled that out.
