We have come a long way in such a short time and everytime I burn a game and load it up it still blows my mind.

On to the reboot hook:

So far we have been peeking in the IOS of the system and even though it's still in gamma version I'm wondering why wiigator made this release with the (pointless) reboot hook.
Maybe wiigator is showing us that the disk channel can be hacked and to look forward to it in the near future.

As a programmer myself I understand the concepts of software development etc...

The solution is simple and I know wiigator has a life and he is working as fast as he can but:

Hooking a reboot will not work in the future releases if he decides to hack the disc channel. So i'm not sure why he even did it in the first place.

It will require hacking the IOS to boot with this hook everytime the wii is turned on, but that's not all. Some of us launch PAL/NTSC games on a PAL/NTSC system so we will still need those options to force NTSC/PAL etc...

or...

Since the disk information is read before hand (before launching it that is) you can gather the ID and the region code for the game and force whichever option is necessary for that game based on the systems region (NTSC/PAL)
It should be a simple if else statement. Nothing more Nothing less.

This is not a flame of any sort but maybe a lightbulb to spring into action over someones head.

I myself am going to try using this hook and creating a cIOS that will do this based off of wiigator's code, but like wiigator I myself have a life/family/job etc... that I must attend to as well (and a newborn on the way).

We are there (if anyone has noticed) let's put our heads together and make this a reality.
