anyone here using a HDDSS.BIN from torrent?

just curious as to how many people are using the same HDDSS.BIN from the bay on their western dig 120 gig hd? ive done all the research and would like to upgrade my hdd, but my concern is if there's thousands of the same 120 gig hd on live at the same time does that throw up a flag? seems like ms is more concerned with modded drive fw. if your using this HDDSS.BIN, please post and mention whether or not you play on live and how long youve been using it. thanks in advance.

yep i use it... the one that flashes the firmware of the BEVS drive to look like a fujitsu. i play on live and have been using it about 3 months...

i've never heard it identified as the cause of mass bannings... and the process has been around a long time. personally i think microsoft is more interested in people stealing games. when you use one of these BEVS drives you aren't stealing anything from anyone ...

i got mine off a rapidshare type site so i imagine it has been used in quite a few drives.

i have been using it for about a month now with no problems. so i do believe you should be ok
