Hi Having problems backing up fifa 2004 + max payne 2
what happening is that when i go to the backup tool under slayers evo x it just freezes... I tried to play the originals and they freeze on the loading screen when i disable my chip x-ecuter they work ok so they must have something in the games to detect whether a modcip is been used is there any way of getting around this

Something to try: Turn off your IGR settings in evox. What version of slayers did you use? Not sure about FIFA 2004, but max payne worked fine for me. I used dvd2xbox .49

all sorted now disabled and enabled my modchip backing up fine now

A wierd thing I had that same problem and then with Max I turned off the chip started playing passing a few scenes I turn on the chip ( in the middle of the game ) and then saved it ..it it worked fine , well at least until now. . . . . and with Fifa it would freeze up at the start so I turned off the chip again and somewhere I heard the the time had to be set on your x-box, so I set it I turn on my x-box this time with the chip turned on and presto the game worked....hope that helps someone
