Hi folks,
I have just flashed my Starview The Box Super, and then reset factory settings. My problem is that now when I connect The Box to the TV, the language menu appears and is frozen. I can't select the language to move onto the channel scan stage.
Could anyone please help?
Thanks!

Just noticed, I flashed with 8.02 instead of 8.04
I'll give that a go, thanks.
By the way, is there a live link that has all the most recent GTRom files? I thought the one I downloaded from was an auto rolling updating fix:

Just flashed with 8.04 and still seem to be having issues freezing at the language menu.
Seems that it will only let me scroll between languages but not select any, and doesn't recognise the remote control at all.
Is there a different version of The Box firmware? ie: Maybe I've used non-clone firmware and am actually meant to use cloned? Not aware of any cloned formware out there?
Any advice? Anyone else had this problem?
Just so I'm clear, this is the same type of box that I'm trying to update.

Cheers.

Thats the firmware for your box alright,it may be a problem with the lcd screen, open the box (make sure its not plugged in)and push the white ribbons down at the point where they end from the front of the box.
