hi i see there is an update for the digivox xl from v1240 to v1250. problem is when i tried update to v1250 just got that chdl message across display. but was able to flash v1240 with no problems will this do or will it not autoroll on this??

v1250 is for irl if u want to use it i would suggest to flash back with v1220 then reboot and then v1250,as u know chdl is bad flash lol,think ur used to that lol.

HA HA!! a bit now.!! i am from cork i flashed it with v1240 an its working away though..?? do i definately need v1250. it was the first flash the box ever had when i tried v1250 an got that error but when kept trying v1240 finally got that?? could i try just update that to v1250? or will i have to reboot and put on v1220? THANKS FOR REPLY.

if its working with 1240 leave it u can always do it later if u wish.

hi have just recieved my didivox xl and am now at a loss as to how to get the relevant firmware. if anyone can assist me in laymens terms be much appreciated

where abouts are you uk or Ireland?Have a look in HERE digivox folder you will find all you need.

im in cork ireland i managed to solve it anyway just downloaded v1250 again an tried an that worked. thanks guys.

Hi All,

I followed the instruction in setting up 2 new digivox xl boxes by downloading the firmware v1240. The boxes are showing 'chdl'. The boxes also keep failing after getting to flash burning during downloading. Emu code 1004 is not working also. Can you help, please? I've spent two days trying to sort it out.

That means its a bad flash,you may need to try it on another pc if your using vista,also it can happen if your using a usb to serial adapter,i would recommend trying to use a pc with a serial port using xp.
