First off, my brother got his friend to hack our psp so i dont know how it got hacked and i cant describe it to you...
In the past my brother and I were able to play iso games on our psp, but just a few weeks ago, my brother got a new game. This game, when put into the psp, has an option to update our psp from CFWver. 3.73 to OFWversion 4.05 (i think). Upgrading was needed to play the game so my brother clicked the icon and the psp got updated... after that we couldnt play iso games anymore.
My question is what happened to my psp that made it like this so that even though i put iso games on my memory chip, it wont work. Also, I would like to ask how do i get this fixed... Do i need to get it hacked again or what? Also, my (extra question) is that when my brother upgraded our psp to v. 4.05, did it become a OFW or is it still a CFW?
~Ive tried so many forums and i just dont get it. SO please give this newb here a step-by-step process plz >.<
~Also, if you use abbreviations plz tell me wat it meas xP im a newb lol.
Thank You Very Much for reading this and taking your time.
Extra info:

**I have an extra sony 3.6V 1800mAh Battery Pack (Which my friend {rigged} so that when ever it is put in the psp, it is automatically turned on with the wifi lights flashing.
***MY PSP TYPE IS IC6001
****My family got this psp around the end of 2006 and this might be a "fat" psp

tec127 - you need to edit your sig - for requirements on them see the link in my sig.
Yes your brother updated to official firmware by updating through the game. This is also why you can no longer play your iso's. So yes you need to mod the psp again through magic memory stick and pandoras battery.
I'm guessing the 'rigged' battery you have is maybe a pandora battery.
Read and use this thread/guide to mod your psp again:

binkie7- So which directions should i follow?
I followed the directions on the mms section... except at the end i didnt encounter the DOS box above the part when we move the psp folder to the memory stick.
After i put my friend's battery that he gave me, it turned on but the screen is blank and i have waited for like 5 minutes. What should i do now?
*BTW when i put the psp folder and 1.50BPG, i put it inside the normal folder after i enter the memory stick through the "removable disk (F:)

You'll need all the Pandora creating items if you don't have them already.
Follow the link Binkie gave you. download those items, follow the directions given after you have obtained downloads.
You see my friend your not worried about if your doing it right. your worries are that you may brick it or make it worse than it is, when working with stuff like this you must take a care free attitude. If you don't you'll never get OFW off of it.

I don't know which program you used to create your magic memory card. However some of them requires you to hold down a button while you cold boot your or when you pop your hackerage pandora battery into your psp. Try either holding the left or right on the d pad or the left top trigger button. Unless your not a total noob, it might just be a magic memory card problem. the memory stick must be formatted correctly and the memory stick must be installed with the write kind of magic.
