hi guys, i know ya hear this all the time but this is wierd and fustraiting. i have had my wii for a year had a d2pro and now have d2sun v3. works fine plays my back-up's and now when i burn my games the wii wont accept, burning with imgburn at 4x on memorex dvd-r's.
you guys slate memorex but they have served me well. it was only last week i burned a copy of ssbb on memorex+r dl. no issues at all.when the new disc's are in the wii it spins it dose not fire up like useual but tries to read 4 a few secconds and says disc read error. gekko os says "error no dvd" i have starfall running on my wii but thats never been an issue before. i have two days off this week i will go into town and try other media, here is my img burn details:

Went to town today and bought more media: Maxell DVD-R and Memorex DVD+R. Maxell faild juast like the Memorex DVD-R's did.

Hope this helps anyone with similar issues

I've had mixed results with memorex, but alot of people cant use them at all.

Went to town today and bought more media: Maxell DVD-R and Memorex DVD+R. Maxell faild juast like the Memorex DVD-R's did.

Memorex DVD+R'S running fine at 4x

Why do I need to look at a log?

I use TY and Verbatim and never have any problems to worry about.

See you in a few months when the dye starts to break down.

you may not need to look at a log but if some one was in the same position that i was in it woud be helpfull to be able to check that the settings where correct

and if if that day dose come will get me hands on a flatmii they look wicked

i think you have to burn it at x2 speed
faster as 2 x won't be played in your Wii

so they say mate, downloaded no more heroes last night, burned it at 2.4x would not load kept crashing a the start. would only load on 4x burn speed (with imgburn)
