Nokia 5310 - Xpress Music. Problem with Speakers

I'm hoping someone might have seen this problem before. I recently bought the Nokia 5310 and got speakers for it. However, if I set my alarm to activate with the radio, the radio comes on through the phone, not through the speakers. If I turn off the alarm and just torn on the radio normally, it comes through the speakers just fine.

Is there something in my settings that I haven't set properly? I know it's only a small prolem but it's driving me crazy.
