stealth... some may argue that there is no real advandtages but I beg to differ. Having the ability to run linux opens up some doors for the xbox360 platform. Not many doors though. For me it is more of just a challenge. If some say it can't be done then I want it even more. Guess I never really grew up. Anyway I think there is a little bit of that in all of us. Why would we all be flashing our drives and drooling over new firmwares if instincually we weren't trying to get something for nothing..... well maybe the something for nothing isn't what drives us, more like the ability to alter the intended function.

smurff... details to follow, some prototyped hardware is on its way to me for testing, beta software released but nothing to test it on yet. I expect the hardware by monday. If you are in the northeast area of US then you are more than welcome to assist.

yes i understand the drive to do something that hasnt been done or to find new ways and paths to new things. So i was wondering if it was just that drive being the main focus or if there would be any major doors opened up to us as a whole community. Its very interesting and i am wanting to know more as i work as a systems integrator and build servers all day, i am still learning more and more about the unix type platform everyday, with a main focus on Solaris. lately i have been reading up on wifi cracking and aircrack ng with linux and using the GPU to accelerate the process, so if linux can be ran on the 360 i am curious what more can be done ;)
