i have a new starview 3 but can't unscramble the channels. after the autoscan (all channels found) i go into parental control enter 2004 and another screen is supposed to appear (cas menu). however this does not seem to happen. i know i have to put emu on or go to nagravision but i think they are on this cas menu??? can someone help me please, at my whits end at this stage.

Presumably you have flashed the box with Firmware, if it is new then you will not be able to enter the Cas System menu until you have installed firmware on the box.

No you don't receive it with the box, they are sold with FTA installed, and that is the reason you can not get into the Cas System. First of all you will need a NULL MODEM lead okay, so have a look at the link marked Eurovox and you will see what you require, it is a different box but exactly the same connectivity, then get a NULL MODEM lead, you may have been supplied with one by your supplier? if not then get one. When you are ready then click on the link marked Starview 2nd line at the bottom of my post and you will find a guide to follow for flashing okay, meanwhile this is the Firmware for your box here >>>
Download it to your Desktop ready for use, it is an all in one (Loader and Firmware combined) when you get that done then you will be able to unscramble the channels.
Hi guys, new to this site but hopefully you can help me, i have a Starview 3 Box which maybe a clone. I live in the Navan area and Chorus is my service provider, I was wondering if anyone had the codes to unlock this box or point me in the right direction. Tanx
