question 1, ive got 2 box's and the original one running in my house so got a splitter in ,siganl isn't that good on the box upstairs, would a signal ampliefer help improve the signal.

question 2, been told you can get uncapped modems for internet does any one know where you can get them from and what are the down side is to getting one. i.e easy to find out you using one
