hey everyone, bare with me for a second cause i know this sounds like something one of the stickies or tutorials could fix but i've already checked them and couldn't answer my question. I downloaded an original xboxiso and i want to play it on my flashed liteon xbox 360. now, my problem is, that i know how to burn 360 games, and i can figure out how to back up xbox1 games when i have the disk, but i have no idea what to do when i have just a downloaded iso on it's own like this, there's no .dvd file or anything. Can i just open the iso with img burn, put in the default layer break number and burn it to a dual layer disk? i'd also use normal dvds if that was possible. Can anybody help me? i'm sure i'm making this more complicated than it needs to be! thanks in advance
That tut is for ixtreme 1.5 firmware on the 360,also note none has yet confirmed it actually works, griffdadd there's a tut round here that i came across 2 months ago that i can't find now ..lol..anyway it explains how to use 4.7GB dvd's as most xbox games don't go over 4gb the only issue you'll have is whether you still have an original xbox as you need to rip the game to it's hdd then ftp those files to the comp to use software to recompile into an iso in the correct order & burn to a normal dvd, i've even got a kreon drive that can make iso's yet i've only managed to get 1 working backup of an xbox game using xbox backup creator,i have a 100% success rate with 360's but those originals are a bastard & as you've seen on your travels few mention they get working backups,i'll do a search this avo to find that tut, at least if it don't work dvd's are cheap as to replace
I would like to know how to do this also.I have the Star Wars Battlefront 2 that I DL from a newsgroup,And I can't fig out to get this game to work. All the tut I have seen are to Backup orig, Which I have gotting rid of all my orig xbox stuff. So I might have to rent it to get the correct files.
