I'm a newbie so bare with me as I have spent hours trying to resolve this for my little girl. We have a CFW version 5.00 M33 installed. When I go into the recovery mode I don't have (Free UMD). Basically she got UMD movies for X-mas and they can't be played because the Region Code is incorrect. What do I need to do to enable free UMD.
This PSP is UK PSP1004. It came with CFW 3.52 M33. I managed to upgrade to the 5.00 M33 now I'm stuck, frustrated, and feeling kinda stupid that I can't get it to work. Any help will be appreciated and would make my little happy.

Go to recovery mode, then to configuration, then to umd mode, press x to change the mode to m33 driver no umd. Other way is to, select the game, press select and change the umd option to m33 driver. Magic done.

I keep seeing to (enable free UMD region) in recovery mode while searching the forums. I don't have this. I have (fake region mode) but you can only disable it or select a country. I have change it to America, UK. Still nothing. What do I need to download to get (free UMD region) in recovery mode.
