Microsoft introduces MSN Mobile Music

article published on 23 January, 2009

Microsoft has announced the launch of MSN Mobile Music in the UK, a service that will allow users to buy and download music directly to their mobile phones. However, going against the trend, Microsoft has added crippling DRM to the tracks, as well as raised the price to above even what Apple charges on iTunes. LMFAO...

I cannot believe (well maybe I can lol) that someone as stupid as the person was who green lighted this is even in a position to have the authority to make such decisions. LOL

The whole plan was pretty idiotic in the first place. However since there are TONS of idiots out there-- hence why spam and Nigerian scams work-- perhaps they were just betting on the odds.

The best line was: Well, I think you know the answer to that

I mean they can't even spin the actual response which would have to be (presumambly): "Well, since the songs are tied to the phone as a way to guarantee that you don't steal the music you just overpaid for whenever you upgrade, lose, or break your current phone all the music that you overpaid for will either be lost/broken with the phone or still accessable to you on the phone you just upgraded from and no longer carry with you or use. This is just another example of how piracy does harm to everyone...."

Definatelty a loser but with consumers you never really can tell.

hmm why not just offer us a blu ray player that can also play VHS !
i bet that would sell nicely as your first if ever BD player eh Microsoft? oh and don't put BD live on it and make it so it can only play on CRT Tvs and don't forget to price it higher than the highest costing PS3 console to date. im sure sales would skyrocket.. don't you?
geez this is exactly why i read in the paper those they had to fire 5000 employees worldwide..cuz some idiot did mushrooms with his breakfast..

I think its obvious, Microsoft knows Americans have had enough of all these companies trying to squeeze us of all our money and wont stand for it anymore. Even Itunes had to get rid of there DRM to keep up.
LMAO they where like hmm lets see if we can squeeze the Brits wallets instead haha! what a joke, they're in for a rude awakening.

Apple doesnt need Steve Jobs for them to prosper anymore, all they have to do is sit back and watch these companies like Microsoft destroy themselves lol.
