Ok, so i installed the homebrew channel on my Wii, however, my wii was at version 3.4 when i did this. I read on the guide here that the backup launcher won't work if the homebrew channel was installed on a wii 3.4. So does any1 know how i can install the backup launcher?
Also, do you have any other useful apps that you think i might enjoy, like something to let me play snes, nes, and sega games?
there are apperently two options, i can use either the backup launcher or wiigator, i hear wiigator is better so i'm using that. It works, and much to my surprise, i don't even need the sd card in the wii in order to use wiigator.
Now just a few questions:
when burning games, what speed do you recommend, i used 2.4x since thats what i use with the xbox 360. But i suspect burning wii games can handle higher speeds, i just don't know what.
Second, are there any apps or wads that let me play games from the snes, nes, n64 or sega?
I'm not sure about the snes/nes/n64 or sega games, I'm not into that stuff. I'm sure a quick google search will get you some results.
As for the burn speed, I always burn my Wii games @ 4x and have never had a problem. I think the big thing is to use quality media. Verbatim DVD-R's seem to be the preference for most people. I use them and have never had a problem. I tried Fuji, but noticed they weren't very good.
