UK Wii mod chip..How Much?

Hello All

I've just bought a brand new wii console and don't have the technical skill to mod chip it myself. I'm in the UK and just wondered roughly what kind of price it would cost to get this done?

What will you be using it for? Because soft mod is FREE! :)

yes
Softmod is free and yes you can play back up games
i like softmod as the hardmode
so i advise softmod your wii

I agree, if you're just going to be playing backup wii games then softmod is the way to go!

Go HERE. It's the tutorial that shows you exactly how.

Thanks all for the advice, think i'm gonna give it a try, just got to pick up a copy of Zelda Twilight Princess before i can start.

Just another quick question....when the guide says you need to play Zelda and get to a 'save point', do i need to have a memory card plugged into the wii or will it save straight to the console.

I've got an SD card and understand the format process etc..

Soz if it's an obvious question.

Just play the game a couple minutes and create a save file on your console.
