Hi,

no matter how i burn any iso and try on my wii it will show the above when loading game. I patch the iso to 33 before i burn.


Please kindly advise.

Why are you patching the ISO? If you're using the backup launcher gamma then its not necessary to patch it anymore.

i using sodtchip to load the games but no matter what it wont load with this error: error IOCTL.

i check the backups that i bought were all using DVD-R, the same ones i use. I extract the backups that i bought and drag them over to IOS patcher 1.1 and it shows IOS33.

So using the same DVD-R and patching it IOS33 should run right? but it wont.

Does it affect writing at high speed? all were done at 8-16X.

Softchip you mean? I dont know much about that, but just did a little research. I didnt see anything about patching the games to make them work, but if I missed that then I'm going to recommend using wiigator to load the games instead, as it requires no patching. Just burn the iso and play.

Burn speed does matter and I usually use 4x for best results. But generally a bad burn gives a standard disk read error and not an error code.

Oh ya, and DONT BUY GAME BACKUPS. Paying money for a pirated product is immoral and stupid. Backup loaders and modchips are supposed to be used to play backups of games you already own.

But if you insist on breaking the law by pirating games anyway then at least make your own backups for free and dont support people getting rich off of game piracy.
