Hi everyone,

got a question you may not usually be asked here,

im trading in my psp tomorrow but have the latest custom firmware installed. Now im going to need to remove the custom firmware and get it back to the official firmware before i trade it in.

How is this achieved? Is there potentially a guide here for this specific thing?

Many Thanks

If you are running cfw 3.80 & above go into recovery and under configuration scroll down to 'use m33 network update' - disable it.
Then run the network update to get ofw back.

If running cfw under 3.80 running the network update should install ofw.

Or you can always go to playstation.com and download ofw and follow the instructions to install it.

edit: typo

Easy - turn on the psp then immediately (or while you're turning it on) press the 'R' button/trigger . Recovery will come up. The r trigger just in case is the clear button on the top right hand side of the psp.

Yea, go to the far left menu and perform a Network update if you have wireless internet around. This should upgrade you to the newest official firmware.
