i've got a 700 mb xvid video file. I haven't burnt it onto cd-r yet, because usually when i do this with xvid it comes out upside down. I read the solutions on this forum to the problem, they suggest getting virtualdub and encoding it upside down in this. However, when i do this i get a message box up saying the FAT 32 partition cannot take over 4gb (the file i started to encode only got 5 minutes in and was 3.9 gb already!!!) I need someone to tell me how to stop the upside down xvid and explain it in PLAIN english as i am a new new newbie. Cheers.

Hello there,
The upside down problem is caused by a codec conflict.
Uninstall your xvid codec and see if that works.

I'm reading the solutions on here and they either don't work or are badly explained. I need a guide on how to fix this problem!!! PLEASE HELP!

UMm...You don"t Burn XviD to VCD ,Only Mpeg1 can be used for VCD so you are Probably useing that Crappy Nero encoder to convert your XviD file to VCD and this is a Common Problem with the Nero encoder and XviD and DivX files...You should consider useing a Real Mpeg encoder to create your VCD"s and then Burn the Mpeg1/VCD files to CD-R useing Nero and then you shouldn"t have this problem.....
