I was wondering if anyone has tried using one of the Madcatz Rockband 2 cymbals on a GHWT drum kit. The cymbals i got with my GHWT kit where garbage and have cracked making them pretty much use less. From the pictures iv'e seen of the cymbals they seem to use the jacks as the GHWT set but iv'e never seen the actual product.

I did not get the Madcatz RB2 cymbal Kit as I was not even aware that these existed. I did however purchase the Harmonix brand RB2 single Cymbal kits for $19 canadian. Its a pretty sturdy piece of plastic IMO. One half of the cymbal is thick plastic and the other half is coated with I can only assume a thicker rubber that is on the drum pads. I am a pretty hardcore guitar only RB player but since I purchased the cymbal I am enjoying playing the drums a lot more. I dabbled a bit on real drums so it was real un-natural to not to be able to hit cymbal when you knew the note called for a cymbal or high hat. The picture you posted is the Harmonix RB2 2-cymbal kit that sells for $29 canadian. The one I bought only came with a cymbal, 3 plastic screw on color coded caps that goes on top of the cymbal, and the plastic arm that attaches to one of the post of the drum kit.

Actaully the harmonix RB2 cymbals where licensed out to Madcatz to manufacture.
